Cervical disc herniation, and percutaneous laser disc decompression: a case report.

OBJECTIVE: There is a report more than 178 cervical discs herniated disc in 93 patients by percutaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) using Nd: YAG laser center for cable in November 1994 addressed to October 2003. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Patients with MRI documented disc herniation in the cervical spine, that are not responding to conservative treatment and were symptomatic enough to need an operation were included in the study. A Seldinger needle is inserted under fluoroscopic guidance and local anesthesia in an offender Cervical Discanterolateral approach was, until only the tip of the ring. Connected to an optical fiber to a pulsed Nd: YAG, 300 J were delivered on the CD. A bandage was applied and the patient back home, back to work the next day. RESULTS: According to MacNab criteria, 90% of patients improved. All were allowed to return to work the next day. One complication (occurring 0.6%): a retro-oesophageal abscess that responded to incision and drainage. CONCLUSION: PLDD cervical herniated disc effective and relatively noninvasive and has a low complication rate. Due to the complexity of critical adjacent anatomical structures must be made only after thorough training by a qualified majority suitably experienced interventionist.

I can only say that searching the Internet for injuries.and spinal pain management. and alternative medicine. There are some studies indicate that the study in medical research as well. Good luck.
