What's a cheap metal to do mock-ups of jewellery? - cheap metal core wheels

Hey guys,
I started making jewelry, and I want to know what the base metals are easily edited by hand (ie, bending, etc.) and what can be a soldier?

I want something relatively inexpensive that I think I make a few mistakes!
